What we do?

Thanks for stopping by! The Sprint Section of the Vintage Motorcycle Club (VMCC) organise Motorcycle Sprints.

We have racing classes for vintage and classic motorcycles through to Nostalgia drag bikes and modern superbikes. So whether you ride an old motorcycle or new motorcycle, are a young rider, or a young-at-heart rider, we have classes to suit you! Please take some time to look through our site...

We have one of the largest photo galleries of classic, modern and vintage motorcycle sprint racing that you’ll find on the web. Visit the pages above to learn about the history of motorcycle sprinting, what motorcycle sprints are or enter an event to race your mates / test your motorcycle’s performance over a timed & measured distance.

1/4 mile Sprints: The earliest, purest and one of the most challenging forms of motorcycle racing

Sprint Section Activity in 2015...

Please note, the Sprint Section of the VMCC is currently being run on a caretaker committee basis. Like other clubs, we've had a challenge to attract new volunteers to help organise sprints. Readers of the VMCC journal will have seen that the longstanding committee wish to stand down, opening opportunities for those who may wish to lead the section into its second quarter century. Contact us HERE if this interests you.

Our 2015 VMCC Sprint calendar includes just one event, the Brighton Speed Trials. For more information on this and other events / clubs running sprints please see our calendar page HERE
